H2H 12 Team Full Keeper entering 2nd season looking for 5 GM's

Hey everyone,

As noted in my previous post a month or two back, I am commissioner of a great fantasy league that is entering our 13th season (other post). However, this league is entering our 2nd season and mimics the exact format. We are looking for five new GM's to step in and take over our open teams. (I have never had so many GM's back out at once. Bit of bad luck on why we had so many back out). Anyways, four of these five teams made the playoffs and since we have only completed one season but each team has great pieces to work with. Now the the fantasy playoffs are over and everyone has had a chance to relax we are looking to fill all five spots prior to our draft later this summer... which would give you time to evaluate, trade, make changes, and acquire picks until our yearly entry draft in the summer months. We really have a great core group of GM's and would prefer only dedicated people inquire.

Below is a basic quick run down of the league set-up:

The BDFHL was started for the 2017-2018 NHL season and is a mandatory participation; full-keeper or dynasty league run through Fantrax. This league started out with 12 original teams and has plans for two expansion drafts in the future to bring us to 16 total teams. (Expansion one prior to the 2020-2021 season and Expansion two will be decided on therefore after.)

The BDFHL is a head to head points based league with a very deep scoring system using over 20 different stat categories. Our league uses a two conference setup with two divisions in each conference. Some of our league info is listed below:

* Cost of $50.00 dollars (payable via Fantrax Treasurer) with payouts for league champion, runner up, regular season champion, and division winners
* 20+ Week Regular Season
* Full Keeper League
* Mandatory Participation

* 22 Player NHL Roster
* 20 Player Prospect Roster
* 2 Conferences (4 divisions)
* 3 Round Playoff Format (6 weeks 2,2,2)

I have recruited several members from Dobber over the years. It is worth noting that we really only want to add people who have the required time to fully participate. Be active with league chatter and discussion, setting your lines daily, knowledge of current and future NHL'ers, respond to trades in a timely matter, etc. This league is intended to be competitive and challenging so please only inquire if you know your hockey!

I'm in both the leagues Hockey13Playa runs, and they are both excellent. Highly recommend signing up for this one, and the available teams are all in great shape (4 of the 5 were in the playoffs, and one made it to the conference finals)

I may be interested, but a little concerned that 5 of 12 teams quit after the first season.

Understandable, 2 of the 5 resigned because they were both business owners who couldn't participate to the level expected and felt it was better to resign and leave the teams to someone who can provide 100000% full participation. Another guy was in favor of salary caps and said he would give our league a try and see if it was something he could get use too. (we're not a salary league) and ultimately decided it wasn't for him so he stepped down. Fourth guy simply just explained to me that the league just wasn't a good fit for him so he decided to leave. And the last guy just literally up and left, no contact nothing. So not sure what that's about. He was friends with another person who left so I am attributing it to that.

So like I said in my initial post bit of bad luck. I run two leagues, that mimic each other in setup... first league is going into season 13. So bit of bad luck but I can totally see the concern of so many leaving after only one full season. However this has never been the case for me, usually 2 tops... if any.

Not to worry though, the league is ran well and the GM's we currently have are awesome. The few we have recently added from this post look promising as well! Right now we have a potential GM on LA who's looking things over so 2 spots remain (Syracuse and Vancouver). If he decides against joining then LA will be back available too. (I will update the post after official confirmation).

I can vouch for Hockey13Playa as well. As someone who is in both of the leagues he runs, I can attest they are both great and he really goes the extra mile to create a great community with custom team names, logos, jerseys, and fun extras like awards for top scoring fantasy players at the end of seasons. We have a great group of GMs, and the last remaining team available was a playoff team last year and is in great shape!
