Too early to make any kind of opinion here. Hopefully, it isn't as bad as it sounds.

I find it interesting that at least half of the reports I've seen show the headline as "assault of a woman" as if that qualification serves any other purpose but to incite readers on an emotional level. Kudos to the publications who don't engage in this crap.

Good news stations/sites are saying Domestic Assault, poor ones are saying "assault of a woman".


He's likely not wearing a Jays jersey until that June court date at the earliest.

Rumour is he was in a bit of a fight at his condo, and he pushed his GF down stairs. Not sure what the whole context is. Was someone being a dick to him and his GF cause he is Osuna and he got in a pushing match with them, and his GF tried to break it up and he pushed her by accident? Cops were called and because a male pushed a female he was arrested to remove him from the premises which seems to be the protocol nowadays.

Or did he purposely push her down the stairs.

Or it's all a massive rumour and stairs aren't involved at all.

Looks like the closer is by committee till further notice really. Clippard got the close last night, but tonight could be Oh, or Axford, or Tepera.

Just a note, Clippard threw 20 pitches (69 in the last week), Tepera threw 16 (62 in the last week), Axford threw 14 (44 in the last week), and Oh threw 7 (52 in the last week). So if it's a save opportunity could be Oh or Axford tonight as they have fresh arms. But who knows.
