Anyone got the inside scoop on Sabres goalie prospect Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen? When is he projected to make his NHL arrival? Does he seem to have the potiental to be a successful NHL starter?

Really tough to say at this point. He's a 19 year old prospect who is still playing in Europe.
He had an okay year this season, and didn't look great in the international play.

I feel like no matter your league, there are options closer than he is. UPK is probably at least 3 years away at this point.

I think Luukkonen was drafted way too early in the NHL draft. He has some potential to become an NHL starter but there are plenty of better goalie prospects out there. And I would be shocked to see him in the NHL within the next 3 years.
