D Zach Werenski underwent shoulder surgery this morning at Orthopedic ONE in Columbus to repair an issue that affected him since being injured Oct. 30 vs #NHLBruins
Werenski is expected to miss 5-6 months. Stay tuned for a release soon and then a story.

You guys are getting scared off, and I'm thinking buy. He put up a solid season being injured the whole time. When (not if) he gets back to full health, I think he can build on that rookie campaign.
Now isn't the time to buy though. It'll be September when people are overanalyzing everything, and when it comes out that he won't be ready for the first week of the season.

He could have a slow start because he'll likely miss at least training camp and preseason games, maybe even the first games of the season. Could be a good buy low situation indeed, just have to find that perfect timing when you do it.
