    I?m expecting honka to be playing in the nhl this season. Anything less is disappointing. Doesn?t have to be big numbers. A 30-35 point season would be a good start.

    Am I going to be disappointed?

    Yes, I think you are. I don't see Honka scoring 30-35 next year. I mean Zach Weresnki scored 37 points this year and he's 3x the player Honka is.

    Fair enough. I got honka as a sweetener in a deal, hoping he makes a career out of himself as a serviceable point getter.

    Do we like honkas future more than someone like Travis dermott?

    Nothing wrong with getting Honka as an add-on, nothing at all. If you can stash and test drive him, all the better - I just wouldn't set yourself up for disappointment next year. Skill-wise, I think Honka is close-to-on-par with Dermott. Although Dermott is a year younger and has better NHL size. The Leafs aren't as stacked on D as the Stars are either. But, they are fairly comparable players in terms of talent.
