I would like to know your opinion (ranking) about who's gonna have the best next 2 or 3 seasons : Gaudette, Donato, Borgstrom, Pettersson, Tolvanen.

My best guess:

Obviously, I like Donato in Boston. I think he fits in there nicely. Too much uncertainty around everyone else for me to plug anyone else in with any real certainty. Pettersson may seem "low" on my list but I can see him learning on the job slowly as Bo Horvat continues to be the man in Vancouver for the next couple years. I do think he could end up being the best of the bunch long term but over the next couple years, I dont see it. Who knows. Wingers tend to ease into the NHL better then centers. If the Canucks bring Pettersson in as a winger to start, then I can see moving him ahead of Tolvanen.
I am sure someone will dig this thread up in a couple years and I could end up looking like a fool. Meh..

Borgstrom has really jumped ahead in some peoples rankings it seems. I think as long as Barkov is there it will limit what Borgstrom will do. I still think Petterson has a higher ceiling than Borgstrom, but perhaps a lower floor? I would still have to go

Pettersson should get the opportunity for top line, top power play probably as early as next season. I rank him quite a bit ahead of all the others.
