Hi all,
I'm looking for thoughts on the following trade below. Dynasty multi-cat league with FOW. I finished 5th this past year and am looking to mix things up a bit.
My F. Forsberg/Labanc for his B. Point/Chabot & 8th overall pick
Forsberg is my best LW which worries me a bit but getting Point (I'm a huge TBL fan) and Chabot could be worth it. I also own Kovy's rights when he comes back and he should be a LW in yahoo.

I'd hold as well. Forsberg is the best player of the bunch.

I'd do this in a heartbeat. Forsberg will out score Point, but Point will give you FOW from potentially a winger slot and similar totals on the year. Chabot also fills an area of need as he is an immediate upgrade on Keith. Labanc is decent but nothing special imo to give up. 8th overall too is the cherry on top.
Gives you an abundance of bolts, but I feel this is enough in your favour to deal with the setback, or you could move Stammer for a nice package later.

JShed, those were my thoughts too as to why I posted about the deal and on the fence due to the FOW category along with Point being a C/RW in yahoo. The other manager changed the deal from Labanc to Gaudette whom I have on my farm team so not sure about giving up Gaudette.

I like this deal for you, espcially with the change from Labanc to Gaudette.
Point & Forsberg are similar, but one has faceoff wins as a plus.
I'd much rather have Chabot and the 8th pick than Gaudette. Two prospects for one.

One thing to consider is Point may lose his RW eligibility next season and be a straight Centre. Happens all the time if a player predominantly plays centre. At least in Fantrax.
