I'd love to say Leafs in 4 but I'm thinking Bruins in 6-7 (voted 7). Either way, this is going to be a war.

Man oh man, Marchand has no respect for anyone else out there. What a dirty POS player. Every. Single. Play. He's out there trying to hurt someone and get away with it.

Kadri just kissed Wingels and I wouldn't be surprised if it cost him a game.

Wow, if Kadri connected on that hit to Wingles' head (I don't think he did?), that would be a suspendable hit, in my opinion. Just a brutal attempt to injure a guy on his knees.

    it's a suspension regardless

doesn't matter much , this series isn't close . Toronto is one dimensional

if by one dimensional you mean short handed, I believe you for the first 38 min this was anyone's game. PK killed them this game. It's an easy one to shake off.

I don't agree because going in I had leafs winning one game this series. Bruins are on another level

I was encouraged at the competitiveness of the game during the first half and then things unraveled after the second PP goal.

I still think the Leafs can hang with this team... they'll be more disciplined Saturday night.

I didn't like what Kadri did. He should have dropped the gloves if he wanted to do something. But "hit from behinds" were all over the place last night. Marner got crunched in the numbers by Chara, then elbowed by Wingels, then Kadri comes in with the dirty hit.

Matthews was smoked from behind about 4ft from the boards but only went down on one knee and stopped himself with his hand earlier in the game. Polak got away with hits from behind.

Leafs need to regroup, come out ON TIME, and push the Bruins back on their heels. Marchand effing licked Leo Komarov last night, wtf is wrong with this guy? I wonder if Leo can charge him for sexual harassment. Imagine that happening? What a way to get Marchand off the ice haha.

Honestly hate the way penalties are called in the playoffs just based off symmetry. If your powerplay got you to the playoffs (which usually is what happens. Don't make the playoffs with bad special teams), and now they're not as effective because calls aren't made. That was a side rant.

    Game 1 Takeaways:
    - how didn't the Leafs bench catch the offside quick enough to challenge?
    - refs were bad for both teams, didn't decide the game
    - Matthews was completely MIA
    - Dermott needs to see more mins, especially on the PK
    - Andersen should have been pulled/rested at 4-1
    - PP looked really good but wasn't good enough
    - Leafs as a whole weren't as bad as the scoreline suggests, were a bit unlucky
    - Kadri was a big factor and we'll miss him for a game or two
    - Marchand grows into a bigger piece of shit, each day of his life
    - Babs has work to do

Assuming Kadri is suspended, who draws in? Martin or Johnsson? My heart wants to see Marleau moved to C and Martin dressed to cause havoc but my mind says it should be Nylander moved to C and dress Johnsson. What do you guys think?

They were focused on Bergeron I think, and when they noticed it could have been the far guy (closest to the bench) it was too late. That's what happened to me.

As per the AJ/Martin decision. It depends where you wanna put them I think. A 4th line of Leo-Pleks-Martin is more in line than a 4th line of Leo-Pleks-AJ because the speed of AJ would be too much for Leo to keep up (you can see this with Kapanen on that line).

    Hyman-Matthews-Nylander
    JvR-Bozak-Brown/Marner
    Kapanen-Marleau-Marner/Brown
    Leo-Pleks-Martin

    OR

    Hyman-Matthews-Nylander
    JvR-Bozak-Brown/Marner
    Leo-Marleau-Brown/Marner
    AJ-Pleks-Kapanen.

The speed of AJ can keep up with Pleks/Kapanen and we saw that when that line was together.

your belief the Leafs would win 1 game or your belief Boston is on another level, does not mean the team is one dimensional.
