Really hope we finish it off in 6 games but I have a feeling were going 7. Game 7 scares me with the Caps history however this team seems different and if they can prove to themselves they can close out a series in 7 games then they just might finally have what it takes to slay the dragon against a burnt out, injured, Pens team who seems to be having some defensive/goalie issues.

Ugh, I hate to say it but the Jackets are flat-out choking. Up 2-0 against a team that notoriously comes up small in the playoffs. Can't win ONE game at home during the series. Offensive performances by players like Panarin and Jones have been MIA. Bob letting in some shaky goals. Looks like more of the same for the post season Jackets. Bummer, I was pulling for them this year.

Holtby certainly made a statement. Even Ovie to an extent.

I picked the CBJ, but I also picked the Flyers to go on. But with Pitts winning, I switched my tune and cheered for the Caps to have another Caps vs Pitts series.

I see the Caps beating Pittsburgh this year. I think weaker goaltending for the Pens will be the difference maker. Should be some high scoring games.

I really like the way Kuzy is playing. If you look at past series between Pitt and Caps it hasn't been Ovi or Holtby that have been the problem they have been solid but it's been having a true secondary difference maker and so far in the playoffs this year Kuzy is that guy. Another guy I really liked in this series is Orlov. Seems like he's a constant threat from the back end. I don't want to get ahead of myself but this year does feel different.

BTW nailed my prediction coming back to win the series. "Suck it Trebek suck it long and suck it hard".
