Dependent on the rest of your team I think Yamamoto is worth the risk here. The potential is high.

IR (2 max):
Personally I'd take Dumba, he reached 50 pts this year. Yamamoto hasn't proven anything yet. A lot of the hype he gets comes from the fact that he MIGHT play with McDavid. The same was thought of Puljujarvi, which has a better predigree than Yamamoto. I'm not buying it yet.
Dumba has been trending upward since making the Wilds team from 26, 34 and 50 pts.
I take proven over potential here. Given that we don't know what your team looks like...

Dumba for me. When he gets the chance at first pairing he is gonna be great, already looking good with Suter / Spurgeon out.
Yamamoto is exciting but that team has plenty of small secondary scorers vying for top line action.

I'm 9th on 9
Have the first and 10th picks
Drafting Dahlin will help improving my defense
10th maybe I'll get Bouchard or take a chance with Merkley.

Dumba and it's not close and I don't even like Dumba.
Dumba by a million miles
Dumba, you've got a good young D, but Dumba's your only 50pt guy (OEL.. perhaps can return?)... so you gotta take him. Not enough proven depth to take a flier on Yama

Stick with Dumba, this is a dumba question. Forget the hype and take the kid who just broke out for 50 points from the blueline. That's 19th in blueline scoring from a kid who has progressed steadily and won't be 24 until July.

Although Yamamoto has a lot of upside he is very unproven. Dumba (to my surprise) scored 50 pts as a 23 year old. Dumba still has some room to grow and with Suter getting older it could open the door more for Dumba. I expect a slight regression next season but the possibility for 50 pts is there each season.
