Crucial decision championship match

I'm ogilthorpe. As you can see this is a tight match, after crunching numbers/averages and taking into account lead margin for certain cats I'm poised to Win A,pts,+/- , H, blk and sho. G's, ppp, gwg could go either way. This goalie decision is crucial IMO. He has Helle starting tomo. so do I start Vasilevskiy tonight or sit him?? From my calculations he would need a shutout from helle to overtake gaa. 1 goal against helle tomo would result with him finishing with a 2.40 gaa as long as game ends in regulation. Correct me if I'm wrong there.

If I play vas tonight and he gives up 3 or more goals I fall behind in gaa and in all likely hood sv% as well..which would let him just sit helle and take all goalie cats besides sho. So I'm leaning towards sitting Vas tonight and force him to play helle tomo.

What do u guys think?

I think the Jets might give Hellebuyck the night off... there is no room for movement.. so an extra night break before the platoffs might be what the doctor ordered for him..

So I wouldn't risk starting Vas and taking a chance at your stats dropping.

I agree they should give helle the night off but I read on the goalie post tweets he's playing tomo.. my only guess as to why is to give him a chance at that silly record..

I heard that Trouba left the ice today... so they might reconsider the silly record because it would be trumped if a silly injury occurred!

I think the Jets will play Hellebuyck, and I think you should sit Vas. Let it rest on a top-shelf performance from his guy. That could still burn you, mind you (the Jets and Helle are obviously hot), but that's how I'd play it.
