Is he an elite offensive d-men?
    Will he reach 55/60pts?

in his rookie year he had 47 points in 78 games.
In his sophomore slump year he had 35 points in 75 games (to date)

Yes... I think in his prime years he reaches 55 points.

Werenski has a very nice background as well as the NHL numbers Penguin mentions, with the U of Michigan he put up 25 pts in his Junior year, Pt per game in his senior year, 36 in 36, and topped that off with 9 pts in 7 games at the 2015 -16 WJC. He then transition immediately to the Big Show, 7 games in the AHL! The kid is good. So ya, he is very likely elite.

I can see peak years nearing 60 points. He's their PP leader. Great release.

I think next season he should hit 40-45 pts. He is still very young and improving his game. A sophomore slump was predicted by about 99% of Dobberites from what I remember.

He's actually not their PP leader, Jones has clearly overtaken him this season, and I like Jones to be the bigger producer going forward. That said, there's no reason both can't flourish.

Yes, Jones seems to be the PP leader on Columbus now and has the full confidence of Trots, but there is no reason both can't flourish. Werenski is an immense talent and he has a nose for the net. I see a similar situation to Josi and Subban for the Blue Jackets, with Werenski being a 'lite' version of one of the aforementioned D. That said, I would prefer to own Jones of the two in any settings, especially multi cat.

Werenski absolutely has a high end skill set and there’s certainly enough room for him and Jones to be dominant. Besides, Jones was about a year and a half more to put up points similar to Werenski this year let alone what he did last season. Part of that was likely due to Jones being in Nashville but part of it is maturing physically and mentally and when Zach gets there they will make one devistating pair.

I love Werenski. His offensive skills are borderline elite. He has 60-65 talent, but I'm not sold on his opportunity yet, with Jones carrying the flag.

    Josi/Subban
    Suter/Weber

    etc.

If Werenski were "the guy" like a Klingberg, Gostisbehere or Barrie, he would sleepwalk to 60. He'll soon get 50 platooning the blue line with Jones.
