Gibson has better chance of playing regularily next season, Islanders goaltending situation looks like a mess.

Georgiev has looked better, played better, is younger, and has a better pedigree. I'm pretty confident he's the Rangers' backup next year.
Gibson has a situation that looks better right now for major relevance next year, but that may change. The Islanders have junk in net. Halak is a free agent, and shouldn't be back. Greiss is overpaid, but under contract. Gibson is also an unrestricted free agent.
Georgiev by a landslide.
