Jouko my friend, what kind of Fantasy player to you see in Tolvanen? Looking to make a strategic move and cash in my #1 waiver priority on a kid who I could turn for a profit (as in a young player who should be impactful out of the gate for a rebbuilder) or consider even keeping myself at LW when may challenge a guy like Landy for my LW2 keeper behind Hall.

It's tough predicting young prospects, especially ones still playing in junior, but here it goes.. These lists are always fun to look back on 10 years later, ouch..

    Pettersson
    Svechnikov
    Tolvanen
    Zadina
    Borgstrom
    Mittlestadt
    Andersson
    Kyrou
    Yamamoto

It's also hard considering he's asking us to predict from the cream of the crop of prospects. Ugh.

I'll give it a go and hope I dont look like an ass in a few years. LOL!

I dont know if positions matter or if your league uses categories like FOW or not because that can alter value to some. I will assume this is a points only format.

I'm projecting him to be a 70-point player, meaning 65-75 points in his prime with 30-40 of them being goals. Next season, I think he can get 50+ and could even get 60+ with right kind of usage.

I have my doubts about Tolvanen being more than a 60-point player. Nashville is very deep in forwards and they spread their ice time around. Nashville has not had a 70-point forward in their history and I'm not sure Tolvanen is the most talented one. I think Tolvanen is being overrated based on his explosive start in the KHL and Olympics performance. I like someone like Pettersson more because he's been more consistent, produced better numbers in the SHL and will have better opportunities in VAN.
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.

I agree and why he's down on my list compared to others.

Is it such an outrageous question? Dobber guide had Evgeny listed as a 75+ pt guy with a comparable of Radulov... has his potential completely cratered since this past offseason?

I guess Dobber is much higher on Evgeny than I am. I think he tops out as a 50-ish points player in his prime. Andrei has PPG+ and 50-goal potential.
