Keep a goalie? Which one
Season has come to an end and I've won the league, but here comes the fallout of the sacrifices made to win it this year. No pick until the 4th round (49th overall). It is a keep 4 league but one has to be a defenseman(Karlsson for me). Here's the question, with such a late pick is there any merit to keeping a goalie over someone like Eichel or McDavid. If so which one, Gibson or Holtby.
Ps. Gibson carried me to the championship so I may be biased.

Well it would be over Drai or Eichel, McDavid is untouchable. There might not be many quality goalies left, almost every team keeps 1 and some 2, not sure why but that's just my league.
My train of thought is to keep the best player period. Worst comes the worst I can get a goalie+ for either of Eichel or Draisatl.

I certainly could do that. But I don't have a pick until the 4th round, 37th overall. I believe 10 teams are keeping a goalie so that's 10 goalies gone off the board and probably more of them gone again by the time I pick. It's the only reason I'm even debating keeping a goalie.
