    Team and League in Sig.

I need to trade one of my C for a W. Next year we will remove PIM and add HITS.

Here are some ideas of trades I'm thinking, please let me know your thoughts:

    1. Tavares vs Gaudreau
    2. Tavares vs Ovechkin
    3. Tavares vs Tarasenko
    4. Tavares vs Panarin
    5. Tavares vs Pastrnak

I could also trade Kuznetsov, Trocheck or Getzlaf..

Can you do Tavares for Gaudreau??

I think that makes the most sense here.

    I would prefer, in order:
    Ovie
    Gaudreau
    Pasta
    Tank
    Panarin

I wouldn't trade Tavares for Panarin.

Are Kucherov, Hall, Schenn, Rantanen, Kane or Kane options to be traded for too?

I'm getting the idea that you want to trade for the sake of trading. The Panarin trade would be bad for you. The OV trade would be an upgrade for you. All the others are pretty even.

In such a small league, there are a few ways to get value in your trades:

    1) Get younger.
    2) Upgrade future year picks and give up better current talent or upgrade current talent and give up future year picks.
    3) Find a manager who has a homer preference and give him what he really likes and get back something more valuable.
    4) Grab a player who is underperforming or trade a player who is over performing.

Number 2 is where I make most of my trades. I am happy to give up future picks to win today.
In a 10 league where we start 3C, 3LW, 3RW, 4D and 2 G daily. It is a H2H league - we keep 3 players (1 G max), are allowed a max of 2 keeps for each player. The number in brackets is the number of keeps I have left:

G, A, +/-, PIMs, PPG, PPA and Shots.
C - Larkin, Couturier, Kopitar, Cirelli
LW - OV, Panarin (1), Schenn (C), Ehlers (RW), Kreider
RW - Kucherov (0), Seguin (C), Palmieri, Voracek, Yamamoto
    D - Yandle, DeAngelo

    W, GAA, SV% and Saves.
G - Rask, Varlamov, Hart, Mrazek
    IR+ - Tarasenko

I would go after Gaudreau, as his lack of peripherals don't hurt you much in this league.

Tarasenko and Panarin are decent buy lows, so you might be able to get a solid add included with them. Overall, they are a slight step back from Tavares. Depending on what the + would be, I would consider these deals.

Pastrnak is similar to Tank and Panarin, but is a buy high, so I don't think I would go after him.

Ovechkin is a different direction. Better player, but older, so it depends how much longer you think he'll stick around. He'll probably be a solid producer for the next 3-4 years, but he might start slipping in 2 to 3 years too, so it's a bit riskier getting older.
