I think if we go larger rosters we have to aim to start Sunday April 1 or there abouts. And that is Easter weekend... should we say lets start that Monday??

I'm good to start whenever. Usually the members involved in these Dobber pools are on the site frequently enough to make slow drafts move relatively quick. I agree that we shouldn't start any earlier than next Saturday though, unless the majority of matchups are confirmed by that time.

I am guessing none of the matchups are confirmed by next monday..

Is starting Wednesday April 4th too late? That is 1 week until playoffs start and that gets the huge slate of Games for Tuesday April 4th in the books. Then most teams only have 2 games with a few having 3 games remaining (St. Louis and Florida I know both have 3 games remaning which are both bubble teams)

Shoot, I was going off of the fantasy schedule haha. Forgot there was a whole other week of games to be played. I was suggesting starting the final Saturday of the season but I guess that'll be too rushed?

Just had a look at last year's draft thread. It took us 5 days to complete 10 rounds. So if we are going to expand roster size we'll have to start on the Wednesday like PH suggested. That or keep roster size at 10 and maybe start the Friday?

Final Saturday of the season April 7... that gives us Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday... I think that is what we did last year to get through 10 rounds. And we have 1 more participant this year so far.

And if we are going with bigger rosters... we HAVE to be done by the time it starts haha... Take last year for example... if someone was planning on taking Nashville and we didn't plan on having draft done until after a couple games into the series... someone would have sniped some Nashville players because they were up on Chicago. But take Eskimo Brother... who might have been planning on that upset and taking Preds in the last 3 rounds of the draft... having the draft go into the playoff schedule could have screwed his strategy!
