I'd take MacKinnon over Crosby, Ovechkin, Laine. He is ranked above all those guys in my upcoming draft lists for next year.

Sorry, have been off line for a while. And NO, not a trolling thread. I just really like MacKinnon but it would be tough to push out my favourite player, Crosby.

1: Age doesn?t matter much to me. This is our 3rd year. No way of knowing how long we will go. Bunch of golfers with all levels of hockey knowledge.

2: Crosby has been a long time favourite player of mine. Kucherov I liked in his first season.

3: I drafted McDavid 2nd overall in our 1st season. Crosby went first overall. I gave up Tarasenko and Klingberg for Crosby and Letang this season when St.Louis was hot .

4: The no trade draft pick rule was to prevent quantity with high picks from knowledgeable GMs being traded for quality and late picks to lesser knowledgeable GMs. Trying to keep the League fun for all involved.

5: Youth isn?t favoured. Name value carries a lot of value though. Being a Keep 3. We?re basically a redraft league. The limited keeper allows the better GMs to have a core they want to draft a round.

    Thanks all

This is a good idea and what I thought the reason would be. Well done.

I would also keep Crosby as my third, and your post solidifies that as the best choice.
