Such a huge albatross- how difficult was it to move this guy at the deadline??? If you didnt you got stuck with:

10 in the last 10 including 5 goals (4 in one night), 32 sogs, with 6 pims. Best addiion by non-trade of the season...

I've never been a fan, but the dude is having one hell of a year. Maybe he's finally got his head on straight. If not, maybe Burnsy tosses his track suit in the shower (:

Is Evander growing up? No track suit in Wpg for him.

He seemed surprisingly down to earth in his after hours interview. Didn't know he had a teacup chihuahua that's hilarious.

    Lol- yea- hahaa!

I was a little bit into the wobbly pops- kind of a pointless post- hahaha! He was sleepwalking forever but the trade to SJ seems to have snapped him out of it. Hes doing fantastic and seems to be a fit. That being said my concern is actually still prevalent in my head. Im not sure he has the hockey IQ to ever be a serious threat. I mean he couldn't crack the sabres powerplay- that should NOT be a difficult pp to crack if you've got a supposedly "elite upside". I think he shoots too much (which is a stat I love to track)- but in this case it may not always be a good thing. Never deferring to talented linemates or taking "obvious" shots as hes been accused of can be selfish play and not always for the good. Not everybody is AO. At a certain point I think you get benched or see your opportunities dwindle if youre shooting that much and not converting. Ive really flip flopped on his upside. I hoped he could be a "Segiun-lite" but I think his playstyle combined with his stat portfolio pain the picture of a much more one dimensional offensive threat than I was hoping for. Despite his hot streak I think he caps oyut at 60- like a hard cap- lol! And I worry that the wheels can fall off extremely fast if/when the coaching staff gets sic of him squandering offesnive opprtunities. His physical tools and shoot first mentality will ensure he has some value but Ive really lowered his ceiling...
