Hasn't felt this good to be a Jets fan since '93. But this time it's the whole team, not just one player playing lights out (though to be fair other players on that team had good years - Tkachuk, Zhamnov and Davydov all with 20+ as rookies. I think Housley had 98 pts that year).

Jets and Laine have 11 games remaining. He should take over Hawerchuk's second spot, but taking over Carson's will be a stretch. If his hot streak continues, then he will do it.
In a 10 league where we start 3C, 3LW, 3RW, 4D and 2 G daily. It is a H2H league - we keep 3 players (1 G max), are allowed a max of 2 keeps for each player. The number in brackets is the number of keeps I have left:

Brother Laine and his Amish beard make me wet. I grabbed him in the 2nd round of our inaugural keeper draft in September, and it's already looking like a steal......so much fun to watch, and he's starting to score goals in different ways too. Still a teenager, started as a goalie, and didn't start playing out till he was 12....I don't think enough is made of that. HE'S BEEN PLAYING HOCKEY AS A SKATER FOR 7 YEARS. There could be a big portion of the development curve for him to hit still, who knows what his ceiling is. If he's doing this at age 19 with the ice time he is getting, I think he's got 60+ in him moving forward.
