Default Schmatlz, Gallagher, Hayes or Bjugstad

For next season and beyond, who do you prefer in a points only league? All pretty young and around the same point totals this year. I have an open roster spot and thinking of picking one of these guys.

    Thanks!

    Schmaltz for me
League 1: 10 teams Points only (Best 9F, 4D and 1G count for the season and best 8 for the playoff). Drop 4 players before a 4 round draft before season. Mini draft during all star week-end (drop one pick one available).

F: MacKinnon, Pettersson, Eichel, Barkov, Stone, Ehlers, Necas, Huberdeau, Zacha, Boldy, , Lafreniere, Cozens, Vilardi
D: Dobson, Ekblad, DeAngelo, Seider, Bouchard, Matheson, Clarke
    G: Vasilievski, Sorokin

League 2: 14 teams, same setting.

F: Rantanen, Kyrou, Barkov, Raymond, Perfetti, Jarvis, Lundell, Lafreniere, Byfield, Holtz, Norris, Reichel, Rossi
D: Dahlin, McAvoy, Addison, Krug, Lundkvist, Clarke

I'm going to go off on a ledge here and say Bjugstad. I really like this player a lot and have for a few years. He's big and has great hands, plus isn't a horrible skater. He has had injury trouble over the past couple years which I think had limited his development and line placement, but the guy has a great skillset. That Barkov, Bjugstad and Dadonov line looks awesome and I say it sticks around for a while giving Trocheck and Hubs the L2 duties.

Gallagher would be my number 2, however, hard to push a guy on a team that has no direction. Nobody has any clue what will be happening to that roster in the offseason.

Schmaltz doesn't stick out for me as a guy who can drive the play, he's just good enough to not get moved off of the kaner line... but i don't guarantee he stays there. But, for the reasons above on Gallagher, Schmaltz is my #2 and is having a great year. I had him on my roster but traded him b/c i soured on watching him play.

Hayes isn't even on my list close to these above 3.

Thanks for the input, guys. I appreciate the insight and opinions. I had Schmaltz most of the year but dropped him a few weeks ago to grab an extra d-man for the final few weeks. I don't need that player(d-man) anymore so looking for another forward.

    Cheers.

If you're competing this year, it has to be Bjugstad.

Looking into the future. I agree with FFleming5, in that I am in a big fan of the tools that Bjugstand possesses. He also ha a lot more forward depth to thrive with in Florida than Schmaltz does in Chicago.

My list is Bjugstad, Schmaltz, Gallagher, then Hayes.

Just gonna say im loving this thread.

I moved Schmaltz+Necas to get Panarin and then grabbed Bjugstad from the FA pool before our deadline two weeks ago.
