Drop Heponiemi. He's the longest wait on all your forwards.

I would disagree since I think he might end up being one of the best.
    Can you trade anyone?

I personally don't think Kaprizov is coming over, so I would bail on him (trading if possible),and then dump one of Fox or Meier.

It has to be 2 forwards you cut.. I would be keeping both the D men and the goalie you have.

    Dubois

Borgstrom - Doesn't have the name value of the other prop
    Connor
    Heponiemi
    Kaprizov
Meier - has 100 games under his belt and isn't scoring at a great pace.
    Suzuki
    Tuch

Meier is the easy pick to drop for me. He's been given a bigger role this year and has little to show for it. After him I'd say either trade Kaprizov (he's high risk of never playing NHL), or drop one of Tuch, Yamamoto o Borgstrom (my vote would be Tuch).

Oh my, people are really sleeping on Borgstrom. I think he's a top 10 prospect in the world right now, and you'll regret it immediately if you drop him now.

I can understand cutting Meier because he probably wouldn't be a keeper once he hits 200GP. I think Fox is the other guy I'd drop. I would, however, rather trade someone like Girard, Tuch or Yamamoto because I think they're being overvalued these days. Girard really went from undervalued to overvalued in a hurry. I remember beating his drum earlier in the season.

Looks like Dobber is on top of things as Borgstrom has climbed all the way to #6 on his latest prospect rankings: https://dobberhockey.com/hockey-home...ds-march-2018/

It's all about the upside here so Tuch and Meier should be your cuts.

Meier is the easiest cut and then I'd cut Girard.

Another vote for Meier, and I agree with the Kaprisoff assessment. If he comes back he won't be a rookie for you anymore

Kaprizov said himself he wants to play in the NHL. If you can afford to hang on to him for a couple of years, I think the risk is worth it if he does come over. Between him and Meier, I would still keep Kaprizov. I drafted him off the waiver wire knowing he was a few years away but his upside is too hard to pass up.

I'd also like to point out that Kaprizov was basically pressured into signing that 3 year contract. He was benched and the Wild were basically denied permission to speak to him. Like I said, he said himself he wants to play in the NHL so I think it's going to happen.
