to bench or not to bench

i'm in playoff vs one of the top team

we don't have minimum and maximum goalie start so i start mason on monday an have a SHO

so my question should i bench my goaltending all week and take the 3 point for gaa, sv% and sho

or bench and wait the other gm have holtby and lindgren (and i have helleybuck and mason on my side )

or i go all in and try to add win and save because i will probably have some problem with the skater stat

Sorry Nordiquefan should have read the second line in your post a little closer. I'd see how the Habs & Caps fare tonight and then start one on Saturday if you have to.

By "no minimum" do you mean you need stats to qualify or does 0 starts works. If 0 starts works, does that win anything? It shouldn't but I figured I'd ask. If 0 starts works, it needs to be fixed in the offseason.

I'd wait to see what your opponent's goalies do in their first game. If his ratios are awful, you can feel better about a big lead and try for wins. Likewise, if he gets a shutout, you want to push for wins & savs, due to no longer winning shutouts.

it a 24 team league and there no obligation to have a goalie so minimum game are set to 0 the league run like this for year but i'm in only for my 2 nd year in

So if you don't play a goalie, you simply lose the goalie categories, right?
