Raanta reportedly going to be back for Sunday. Relevant for those with him available, or relying on Kuemper.

Saros possible to start tonight. Usually a solid play.

    I would go Domingue.
Luongo has been good, but Hank has been doing well too. I'm less scared of a MTL goalie stealing a 50 save win.

My first round matchup is likely to be decided by goaltending and I am 0 for 2 on decision making. Started Varlamov vs. Columbus earlier in the week and he overturned my GAA & Save % categories to my opponent. Now today I thought it was a no brainer to bench Mrazek vs. Winnipeg and sure enough he wins with 1.00 GAA and .964 GAA. Need a solid start from Dubnyk vs. Edmonton tonight. Thanks for letting me vent. Great thread!

Well that was a closer game in TBay that anticipated, but still we got the win

Yeah that is a close first round matchup you have going with HB. With a couple PPPs you could eek it out without the goalies, but missing out on that Mrazek start is tough. I probably would have sat him too though.

I think anyone in their right mind would sit Mrazek vs. Winnipeg. He's been ice cold and the Jets have been scoring for fun. Just not this afternoon apparently.

Yeah. Afternoon games are sometimes kinder to the goalies, but you never know against the good teams. Boston went off for 7 this afternoon, but Vegas only scored 1 in regulation against Buffalo.

Hey guys, I was looking for some feedback on the following:

    1) Do you think it's likely Mike Smith is back tomorrow or the Flames roll Rittich again?
    2) Who do you think the Isles will play tomorrow - Gibson or Halak?
    3) I've noticed the Pens aren't shy from playing Jarry in a B2B situation in the past - do you think they'll roll him again tomorrow or will DeSmith get the start?

    Thanks!

    1) I think Smith is still at least another week away. He's known for not coming back unless fully ready.
    2) Smart bet is Halak.
    3) I think it depends on how Jarry does. They have been doing a bit of win-and-you're-in, kind of style. So I say the answer will be found in tonight's game score.

This one is tough. It is hard to bet against a team as red hot as Nashville is right now but they eventually have to loose. On the other hand you have Dubnyk against a weaker team but has McDavid on it. Flip of a coin really but I'd go with Saros. Good luck.

John Shannon tweeted out that Smith could be back tomorrow night. Decision will come after tonight's Calgary game.
