Default Awful Goalie Situation heading into Playoffs

Goalies have been my weakness all season in my trade-averse 12-team H2H. Team and Scoring in signature below.

With only Talbot and Ward rostered at this point, and nothing but slim-picking backups available, I'm looking for advice on moves to make.

    Available Gs:
    Jarry
    Niemi
    Lindgren
    Lehtonen
    Grubauer

I have 3 moves left this week (4 max). Right now I'm thinking of scooping Lehtonen tomorrow in the hopes he plays Monday (first of a B2B vs Ottawa -- Tuesday @NSH). I'll have Talbot going Monday vs ARI, so if I get 2 solid starts that night then I can worry less about goalie cats as the week rolls on. If they crap then bed, then I can try to make up for it with more goalie streams.

That being said, Jarry may see some starts next week but has a tough schedule. Not sure if/how the Niemi/Lindgren splits stabilize in one direction or the other, but Niemi is having quite the resurgence. And Grubauer has been doing well as Holtby struggles, but is that really enough to keep giving him starts?

I'll be looking to swap Kadri tomorrow or after his game Monday since he's only got 2 next week. Same thing with Muzzin.

Any thoughts on this are much appreciated!

If you're already in a playoff spot, don't burn your moves with only looking at this week. Set yourself up for the best options next week.
In a league with 4 goalie cats (only wins being a real advantage of adding a 3rd goalie), and 8 player cats, I'm wondering if you're better off just grabbing another skater. Win the skater categories, get lucky on one goalie category, and win the week(s) that way.

Of the list, Jarry is your best bet though.

Thanks for the reply. I'm actually seeking advice for next week, so sorry if I wasn't clear.

The idea behind making moves this week is that I only get 4 moves per week. So if there's players I should add for next week then I can add them before Monday and then still have 4 moves to make next week.

I agree about trying to cycle skater starts in but like I said I've lost goalie cats pretty regularly, and Ward only has 2 starts this week.

Are there any noticeable back to back scenarios that you can expose and grab a backup? Or is that what you did already?

The Mon-Tues B2B Dallas has might be ideal for me to scoop Lehtonen -- IF by tonight I know he'll get the start tomorrow. I like early week goalie starts because if it goes well you can try to sit on the stats, and if it goes poorly you have the week to make up for it.

Another strong looking B2B opportunity would be Boston's home-and-home with Chicago. Khudobin would likely get one of those starts, and he's been playing well. It's just risky to save some of my 4 weekly moves for that late in the week (if goalie cats are even up for grabs at that point).

So basically I'm unsure if I should try to just spot-start a goalie in a B2B, or if I'm better off adding a more consistent starter like Jarry or Niemi (today will be a test @BOS).

One last option I haven't mentioned yet is possibly add Markstrom. Not great, but VAN has 4 games this week and one of the easiest looking schedules (home vs NYI, ARI, MIN, @ARI).

    Thanks again for the advice.

Awesome, thank you for the info! Hard pass on him @NSH Tuesday haha. I'm tempted to go Niemi at this point, and if I need the help later in the week I'll look to Khudobin during the B's Sat/Sun B2B.

Niemi is not playing tonight, it's Lindgren.

Chad Johnson has been on a decent tear lately, and BUF has a B2B coming up.

Korpisalo is getting the start tonight for CLB.

I dodged a bullet by not picking up Niemi considering he's DTD now.

I saw Chad Johnson was starting for Buf Monday and looked into his numbers. Scooped him up Sunday night and spot started him yesterday. I'll take the W and Sv%. I thought about keeping him but figured he'd get the start vs CGY and then rest in the B2B vs Ottawa. No interest in starting him later in the week vs Vegas so I dropped him last night and added Khudobin for another spot start tonight. He might end up staying on my roster if Rask's injury is anything significant.

I'm hoping for a strong showing from Ward and Khudobin tonight so I'll be able to sit on my goalie cats the rest of the week and use my remaining moves on a forward or two.
