What has happened here? Is he scrambled or has he lost confidence?
Lookin to aquire Markstrom and used to think that Allen was miles ahead of Markstrom but now im not sure. Would anybody do that straight up

I wouldnt sell allen at his lowest, if u can wait it out till next year just wait till he rides high again and then move him.
what you're seeing is what you'll get from markstrom for the foreseeable future, the nucks will maybe be slightly better next year, but he will have demko stealing starts.

No I don't think I'd want Markstrom over Allen. If you don't have faith in Allen long term I would wait until he is playing well, then move him. But you have to commit to selling him high. With Allen I think you ideally try to see if you can get Hutton, or trade him to the team that has him. I can't imagine the Hutton owner is 100% confident in his ability to keep it going with Allen around, just like you have questions about Allen. If Hutton hits the ditch for a couple weeks I would try to make it happen. But I'd need to see a lot more to take Markstrom over him right now.

I don't think I would be willing to trade Allen at one of his all-time lows.. Especially for Markstrom.. Not when you already owm Demko!!

No for moving Allen now... I don’t think you will get better than Markstrom ATM, but that doesn’t mean you have to move him for that return either.

This is the second year in a row Allen goes through this and it's definitely a real concern moving forward. That said I would not want Markstrom over him. There's no upside in Markstrom as he's not that good himself and he lacks a quality team around him.

The ironic thing is since this has happened 2 years in a row, a lot of people will have the same feeling/outlook as RHS and be terrified of going anywhere near Allen next year and he will post an insanely good season.
