In a pool where only goals and assists count for points, what do some think his potential is point-wise?

Dahlin...it's an interesting question. He's seen as franchise-potential, but how does he stack up points-wise? I don't know.

I'd say 60 pts in his prime. 20-30 pts in his rookie season. Possibly more.

Obviously it depends on how league scoring in general changes but I wouldn't be shocked to see him winning the defensemen scoring race at some point, so I guess he could go up to 80 points then.

I think it also depends on what team he is drafted to and what system he has to adapt to..

    As a rook: 12/32/44
    Avg. prime season: 17/45/62
    Peak seasons: 20/50/70
    Career year: 22/53/75

I don't see him hitting 80 - that's Karlsson's gig. But I could see him snagging a couple Norris' and D scoring titles along the way.
More Lidstrom digits, minus the 80.

I think he will get to the 70 point mark some years. He is a very special talent. One of the most impressive draft eligible blueliners I've seen. 80 is a very high mark that only a couple players have had in this era...I think he is one of the players who could get there but it's an outside chance.

I like these numbers, despite the avatar being a dead giveaway for potential blue-sky bias.

I'm being practical and as conservative as possible.
If the Swords click, and he gets PP1 time early, he could break 45 in year 1 and snag the Calder.
If anyone has the chance to touch 80, it's him, but I think he falls short unless he pulls a "Sid" and works on his shot like a maniac.
My biggest concern about this kid is the way he over-dangles and cuts through the middle. He needs to have his head on a swivel... but he'll top off at 6-4, 215.
