he's not skating yet... so I'd suspect another week at this point even if it says DTD. would expect him to skate a day or two before taking contact & then taking contact before getting into a game

Micheal Ferland has shed his non-contact jersey during today's practice.
Advice: Ferland has missed Calgary's last four games due to his undisclosed injury. He's nearing a return and the Flames will be itching to get him and his 20 goals back in the lineup.

Noteworthy is that in his last two games before getting injured Ferland was taken off the Monahan line. It'll be interesting to see where he slots when he returns.
