I start my stars and it works out more often than not. After that it's just gut feeling
I am wondering what most people use to evaluate who to start when you have multiple goalies starting in one day?
1. I used to use leftwinglock.com until the new interface. They used to provide a number comparison but now use a bar that is hard to tell sometimes.
2. DFS salaries
3. Over/under for game
4. Team rankings by stats
Thanks for any opinions.

(No I don't have a hockey problem...)
I don't play in daily start leagues right now, but a couple things that you didn't cover:
1. Quality start percentage. This is a number that tells you how frequently guys put up starts of reasonable quality. Useful anytime, but sometime you need a high-variable guy to win the week, so you might start a guy like "Goalie-Pittsburgh" who is high variance. I use that term, because it seems to have passed from Fleury to Murray. Backups there seem to be more reliable.
2. Your weekly situation. Big lead in rate stats? Go more conservative. Rate stats trashed, but trying to win win s/saves - just load up. Et cetera.

Just a few factors I look at ...
I used to LOVE using LWL to determine starters until they changed the format. It used to be possible for both goalies in a game to be rated highly (say 70 and 80) if a low scoring game was expected. Then at some point they switched it to a format where the total was always going to be 100, and more often than not there was hardly a division between one and the other (55 for one, 45 for the other... great, thanks). I loved the boldness of the old system. And now they have those stupid bars...
Now I am lost and hopeless.

Teams are usually sluggish on the second of a back-to-back. Those are usually good games to start your goalie in (when you are playing the team on their second of a back-to-back).
