Now that he went down I have an offer from a guy trying to buy low.. although I've been thinking, he makes $15m next season

Eve for Price in a Cap league that's pretty sad. I wouldn't want to touch the Isles tandem, but maybe you can counter with something productive. Does he have another pricy goalie or skater that you could swap for? Take the other player, Forsberg, and the 1st. If you're not competing this year, and assuming you cap isn't incredibly high, then it would probably pay off as soon as next year.

You should get an actual goalie in return if you're moving Price.. this is a garbage deal with a nice pick... pass for me

Further thought to my above, only go for the skater/Forsberg/1st deal if you have enough goalie depth to cover losing Price. Otherwise, as Luca says, you need a goalie back (a starter, not a platoon set).

No to this deal but yes to moving price in most cap league. He will be an anchor you can't get rid of with another poor showing from Montreal next season.
What does the rest of his team look like? What's your goalie situation beyond price and how many do you start? Weekly or daily?

That's a lot of initial cap for you to be taking on though. Could you get an extra pick/prospect thrown on, or someone lesser than D. Strome going back?

I like that better as well. I was thinking Buff would be a good guy coming back. I like Ebs suggestion in cutting Strome or adding a pick.
