    Default Jeff Carter

Just wondering how people think he will finish the year. I am thinking of picking him up as he is available and dropping Nick Schmaltz who has done nothing lately, I am in a straight points (g/a) league .
    Thanks for any input

I feel like theres two ways this goes: He's his normal self and is great and a must add or his foot, though fully healed, hampers him somewhat and he isn't able to find his game or is missing half a step.

IIRC Huberdeau had a similar injury last year and returned around the same time and didnt seem to miss a beat though he's like, 10 years younger

    I'd add him over Schmaltz

I think the upside is worth grabbing over Schmaltz.

Carter is going to be deployed into a cherry role on a team that is in playoff mode and preparing for a Cup run. I own him and am excited to get him into the lineup. This will be like a huge deadline deal for the Kings, adding a player of Carter's caliber for the stretch run. I would certainly rather have Carter than Schmaltz.

Carter is going to be a solid addition down the stretch

I Agree with the others. I just got him yesterday in a trade for Backes. I expect for Carter to finish the season on a 65 points pace.
