Considering offering up Shea Weber for Phaneuf in a kitchen-sink roto league, limited keeper.
Weber is usually a top 20 player in this format, and the positional disparity makes him that much more valuable. I would have a hard time keeping him after this down-season though.
He's looking alot more like his old days in Toronto, but it's only been a few games. Despite the sample size, can anyone who has watched any of those games comment?
I watch all of the Kings' games. Phaneuf is going to slot in on the 2nd pair next to Alec Martinez and he is looking like a solid PP2 contributor with his shot. He is going to be fantasy relevant for the foreseeable future with the Kings. Rob Blake had something in mind for Phaneuf when he dealt for him and clearly its paying off in the early going. The Kings are already in playoff mode so they should be a very strong team down the stretch. For the rest of this year Phaneuf is a good play. Cant really give you more than that forecast though.
