I feel like giving up on this league after this year. A bottom feeder owner and I made a couple of offers to each other. Me giving him lots of picks for next year and him giving me high end talent to compete this year. He said he probably would do all the trades but he doesn't wanna piss off the commish who is in first. Should I just hold onto what I got?

Backstrom
1st Round Pick

For

Wheeler
6th round pick.


The reason I eliminated Keller is because you likely won't keep him, and as you mentioned, you likely won't catch first and can't be caught by third. So the inclusion of Keller does not really help you out at all.

So I would go back with him and see if he will consider adding another pick up grade because Keller is not helpful to you.

As for the trade as is...

I really like being able to get the 1st round pick.... the question is... is the the downgrade from Wheeler to Backstrom offset the increase of 5 rounds in the draft, and in a keep 5 i think it does. As long as positional requirements are not needed.

I mean an additional first round pick in a keep 5 is huge. It's pretty well summed up by PH. In an essentially points only league next season wheeler should come down a bit and Backstrom should come up a bit. Keller is irrelevant.
