Weber for a 1st?

Starting to look like Weber May get shut down. My season is pretty much lost this year. I?ve been offered a 1st (10-14 range) for Weber. My team is fringe in a deep league. Cut bait on the legend of Weber for a kid? Or stand my ground. Can?t decide.

Walman and Liljegren on my farm. Start 6.

Would be a rookie 10-14 pick.

I guess my main motivation would be to eventually clear room for Liljegren and Walman. It’s a keep 6 D, and while Carlo hasn’t “lit it up” I think he improves when Chara finally moves on. I may have a challenge keeping Carlo if I keep the oft injured Weber.

Man, I've got Weber too on my roster and bummed he's likely shut down for the year as i could use his stats... but with those categories Weber is a dominant force and will not be replaced or easily replaced for some time by one of those other players. You're looking at a 2-3 year wait for a return MAYBE (You never know with an unproven player what you're gonna get)... I want to move on from Weber too but I'm holding firm for those stated reasons..... Rookie draft is great but 10-14 pick in a rookie draft isn't all that amazing either. The wait for the ROI here is just too long I think... unless you really are looking to rebuild over time I think I stand pat

I would actually be looking to trade Suter as you will get full value on him now, versus the discount everyone is expecting for Weber.

Or Montour, Eller and a pick or prospect?

I guess who’s the better forward? Lars Eller (3rd Line C with caps) or sobotka (3rd Line LW with Blues)?

I like either of those. Unsure which forward helps you more, though.

Montour is by far my choice here and if you hae to choose I go with Eller.
