So we are looking at Parsons, Sorokin, Suzuki, Bellows and Borgstrom for Johnny Hockey?
Hell ya, this is a quantity versus quality deal if I ever saw one. You retain 3 blue chip prospects and move out decent but not awe inspiring prospects for one of the best forwards in the NHL, your team just got markedly better. Works for me, recommend you do this. Who would the other GM be dropping? Perhaps you can fill some of your rookie spots with his drops, might be a better option than FA.

He wouldn?t have to drop anyone. Prospect pool is unlimited. Been collecting for 3 years now. Lol
I still don't mind this, at least in theory. If the other GM is willing to swap a few prospects then I'd be looking at that as an option. In my opinion, and others may not agree, you have to ask yourself how many of these prospects will actually be fantasy relevant. The answer is often not many. For those that do make the jump, it often takes a few years. Meanwhile, while you wait on what is, in many cases anything but a sure thing, the other guys are winning championships. You need to find the balance. You already have a very solid team which should compete now and into the future. Add Gaudreau and your that much better.

I'm with Bubba55 on this one. It's a no brainer trade for you to make! The fact that he's not demanding one of your top three prospects is mind blowing to me.
Yup..thats a good deal still. Yammo and Chytil are maybe the most intriguing of the guys going his way but you still keep pettersson and samsonov

Do it and don't wait in case he changes his mind.
Gaudreau may give you a chance to win right now while he waits for the others to play.
