Default Is it (well past) time to cut bait on T.J. Oshie?

This prick has been killing me all season, and now I am sitting in third and need to make my final push. I've been offered Alex Steen for Oshie and while Steen is pretty meh himself, I am temped to pull the trigger. Steener plays with Tara and has been ppg over the last 19 games or so, while TJ has been less than invisible.

For some reason I keep waiting for a hot streak, given Oshie still rocks that killer top PP and should for many years (keeper league) but time is ticking and I more than done with him.

Make the deal or ride it out?

    Thanks!

I'm far from an expert but I think responsibilities are spread out a little more evenly with the Blues than Washington. Few places I've read have said Oshie's fantasy value has dropped a lot. Sucks cause he's a good player but just having am off year. If it were me, I'd make the deal if Steen has the better numbers over the last little while. But again, I'm NOT an expert so take this with a grain of salt.

Sounds like Loco is a little Loco over TJ (:

I just added Steen myself. He is currently contributing .685 pts/game. Oshie is putting up .627 pts/game. I believe this trend continues. In fact, I'm hoping that the Blues and Steen can improve on the numbers and I'm not at all comfortable that TJ and the Caps can do the same. So I don't think this is a bad idea at all. Others may well disagree but that's my take. That said, no matter which way you go, you wanna lose both of them after the season if you can (:
