I think you should trade for the lottery pick. And then trade the lottery pick for the sperm of somebody in the lottery. Then in 20 years, you'll really be in a great position!!!

This is close, at least in the near term. I don't think Getz is done just yet, ppg after returning from injury. He may slow in the next year or two but is still very likely a 70+ point forward. Speaking of injuries, this is a concern for Barkov, 3 of his first 5 years he has missed 20 games and although he likely hits it this year, he has not surpassed the 60 pt mark in a season. If he stays healthy then expecting some big numbers on the Cats first line is realistic but the injury history is there. With the team you have, already sitting in 4th, you should be well positioned to take a run at a championship next year and personally I'd like Getz on that team rather than Barkov. Throw in the Lottery pick and I think this could work out quite nicely for you.
