I would look to see if you can get a winger for one of your 3 centers not named Tavares. I would consider Tarasenko for JT, but not Panarin.

Agreed. No way I would make this move. Especially with Bailey and Barzal on the scene to help...

Panarin for JT is a bad trade. Tarasenko is a better trade but I still think you can do better.
