Deathline trades
Hi guys.
I am presently in 3rd position in a league of 14 teams, very not far from the 1st and 2nd.
The playoffs are approaching quickly and the money is made in the playoffs.
I did the following trades : (for the league in sig, team not updated yet)
1-My McDonagh+Logan Brown+2018 2nd pick for Doughty
I wanted to upgrade my D
2-A 2019 3rd rnd pick vs Varlamov
Just in case Schneider remains injured for a long time
3-My Lindgren + a 2019 1st pick (not mine, should be a top 7 pick) vs Matthew Tkachuk
I wanted another LW in my team
4-My Yandle for a 2018 2nd pick
I did this trade only because I would have had to drop one more player in my team once my guys are back from IR.
How did in fare in your opinion?
Btw the draft is liek the NHL draft, we draft all 2018 draft eligible players and FA.

Nicely done. Only one I probably would've passed on was trade 4. I would've kept Yandle and dropped Johns/Zadorov. Anyone in that 15-28 range in the draft is usually a gamble.

I like all the trades, and that's exactly how a deadline should be executed.
A couple of futures (but not mortgaging the whole farm) to shore up some weak spots, and then selling off the players you would have to drop to recoup whatever you can.
