I find that I'm liking this way more than I thought I would. It's kinda fun watching these collections of misfit toys have their last chance to show people wat they can do. Reminds me of Mystery Alaska haha

I expected to like this, but I grew up with watching amateurs in the Olympics. Other than the year the Czechs won as a team that nobody gave much of a chance (How the media did that with Jagr & Hasek on the team, I have no idea, but it was really weird) I prefer watching people who are playng for the glory of winning, not just an another feather in their cap.

    Russia 8-2 over Slovenia.

Hat-trick for Kaprizov, 2 goals and an assist for Kovalchuk. Both Vasily Koshechkin & Ilya Sorokin played. Saving 7 of 8 and 6 of 7 respectively. Koshechkin played the first 2 periods and Sorokin took over in the third.

I don't mind this hockey. Kinda reminds me of the Spengler Cup without all the advertising..

Is it bad that I'm cheering for anyone but a team that has Kovalchuk on it??

Tolavanen has scored twice already against Norway.

I'm not sure if this link will work outside Canada but CBC's streaming it https://olympics.cbc.ca/video/todays...round-fin-nor/ and I'm watching it on and off at work when I can.

Somebody would have made a ton of cash if they would have put a wager on Team Germany making it to the semis!!

I wanted to watch the women's finals, but it was on too late for me. Maybe I will catch it in a re-run.

Congrats to USA. Unfortunately, the shoot-out is what it is and will never change in international play. They can't risk a 20 period overtime to decide a medal. Everyone knows the rules going in, so I think we just have to live with it and accept it.
