Henrik Haapala is currently in Tampere, Finland and there's speculation he'll join the Tappara team where he played last season as well. The Panthers will either need to loan him officially or put him on unconditional waivers for that to happen but looks like they're going to do something.

Haapala had a lot of injuries this season which has been the story his entire career. His playing style is a terrible fit in the AHL, so I'm not really surprised he didn't have success there.
