Anyone who listened to country in the 90s (the best years for Country music IMO) knows him well. And like a lot of those country singers from those years, hasn't had radio prominence for some time either due to his love of "keeping it country", unlike many of todays country artists.
Definitely a sad story. Only 46 and he had four kids.
