    Default Blue Jays announcer Jerry Howarth to retire do to health issues.

    He is retiring due to health issues affecting his voice. He is an absolute icon and will be truly missed. There was just something so comforting listing to his broadcasts.

    Enjoy the rest of your life Jerry. Thanks for the memories.

    I just read this this morning as well.

    Great career for sure. He will be missed.
