    Default Vince Dunn

Dunn has been keeping pace with and/or out-scoring Parayko and Pietrangelo over the past month or so. He did have 3 assists vs Colorado which pads his recent stats a little. But he's on the Blue's top PP with Schwartz/Schenn/Tarasenko and Steen.
Is he for real? Is he going to stay on the #1 PP or is this just an anomaly and he'll be back to relative obscurity soon?

I think Dunn could disappear from the radar as quickly as he arrived on it. This is AP's team and I fully expect him to get most of the opportunities. Parayko will bounce back too. I think Dunn is a great stream play right now while he's hot, but I don't expect to be talking about him as a top 2 D for that team by seasons end. Just my gut take so take that for what its worth.

    Buy low on AP

Dunn is a flash in the pan who will be 'done' in a week or two.

I like Dunn, but I feel like AP and Parayko will keep him at bay for a bit yet.

Dunn isn't a flash in the pan lol

He'll be around but out point AP? Nah.

Parayko? Maybe in a year or two.

Dunn's going to be a really solid offensive Dman. he'll carve his niche... Pretty sure others thought Montour was trapped behind a plethora of Dmen in Anh. and would need to be traded to get a true opportunity. Instead, they dealt Theodore & Vatanen. He's already surpassed the older Walman. He's going to run someone's PP. If they're after a big fish in the UFA market... Dunn could be a key piece going the other way.

I would like to give this thread a bump and hear some thoughts on Dunn's current output and if he'll keep his spot.

He's played six games (a healthy scratch for two I believe).
    Four points, with three goals.
His ice time looks to all over the map from 10 - 20 min.
He's currently on the first pairing with AP (maybe he's moved around a bit?) and the first powerplay.

Is he in the same place as last year, trying to carve out his niche, but likely overshadowed by AP? Or do you think he's a darkhorse for 40-45 pts?

Interesting question to revisit with Dunn. He's been much more productive than Pietrangelo, but I remember reading somewhere that Piets' average PP TOI is actually right in line with last season. I would think we'll see some regression to the mean here.

He’s seeing PP1 time and making good use of it. He’s firmly on my radar now and could very well be this year’s Werenski or Ghost in my opinion.

Ya he's certainly been reading the play well and has had some luck getting his shots through traffic. Scored a nice one Vs the Jets the other night.

I wonder if things will develop similar to Shattenkirk when he was playing with AP. Shattenkirk took over QB duties if I remember.
