Bloody hell this is a brutal injury and timing. Feel bad for Eichel who was starting to tear it up.
In my 1-year league I'm in 7 of 12 (8 make playoffs) and have 4 regular season matchups left, no IR. I figure I will hold Eichel for this week and if I drop in the rankings have to cut him for a healthy skater. Given that the season only has 7 weeks left and the Sabres are so far down the rankings what the odds Eichel actually plays again this year?
6 weeks would have him back March 26th, season ends April 7th.
Seems like a season ending injury right?

I'd also cut bait. While Eichel is staking, there's still no timeline for his return. With the Sabres in a lottery race, is there really much incentive to bring him back? I mean, this is the same time that shamelessly tanked to get Eichel in the first place....
