    Default Anthony DeAngelo

Do you see him as a regular NHL Dman with #1 PP time? What is his upside and likelihood to get there? Is he a boom or bust?

Attitude problems from an early age. Suspended at the NHL level, already.

First round draft pick, now on his third team.

His skating was significantly better than the majority of OHL players who he was playing against when he was younger. It was this skating ability that allowed him to "play defense". That's not the case anymore, not at this level.

    Bust, with a capital B.

What do I see of him? EVENTUALLY, LIKELY, MAYBE..... A regular 5/6 Dman with PP2 time, being the first or second guy promoted if the PP1 quarterback goes down long term.

This kid is far from being A BUST. Only 22 yrs old and 56gms played. Looking more & more comfortable since last recall. It will interesting to see if Mcdonaugh gets traded and he plays a more significant role/minutes on the rebuilding Rangers.

    So did black panther

He?s a huge boom bust player... STILL.

Far to early to label him one or the other.

I?m holding and watching to see what the rangers do.

So now we no that the Rangers went full rebuild, which dman is gonna break through on this team, assuming Shattenkirk is still pp1 and the top dog once he gets back from injury rite?, just curious as to where guys like DeAngelo and Skjei fit in? or maybe there is someone in the ranks that could possibly merge who is not well known.

I dont know if its "far too early". Yes hes still got a window- but Im much more concerned and Im taking 10-15 points off his upside too as one dimensional guys like that need a perfect situation to reach any kind of upside...

If I was in your league, I'd like you to stash him on your team as well. He's a waste of a roster spot in the long run. He might put up a few points the rest of this season but I don't think he ever becomes more than a #7 dman with some offensive skill.

DeAngelo is terrible. Until he learns how to play defense and develops a work ethic he will be a bust in fantasy circles and real hockey. Still so young though, hopefully he turns it around.

Acquired him twice in a very deep league. Cut ties twice. Not looking back.

Not succeeding and not in a good situation. I think Risk is showing itself far more than reward will.

Needs another official name change. As soon as he goes to Tony D, it’ll all come together.

In reality, reports of a major lack of professionalism possibly hindering him becoming a productive pro seem justified.
