Default Rangers ask Nash for his NTC list...

Well we all knew this was just a matter of time before this happened. Nash will most definitely be dealt at or before the deadline later this month.

NYR have requested Rick Nash?s No-Trade list and Nash gave it to the club yesterday. The list is 18 teams Nash cannot be traded to (unless he were to waive his NTC). Conversely, NYR now have the green light to trade Nash to the 12 teams not on the list.

It’ll be fun. Once a couple of Hoffman/Kane/Pacioretty go someone will get jumpy and do just that.

Nash to Vegas? He could fit in with all the misfits and maybe revive himself?

I feel like Vegas has had too much chemistry and they won't be looking to shove an extra guy in there.
That being said, I think that Nash as a 3rd line grinder is HUGELY valuable to any team hoping to go deep in the playoffs.

I agree... I just hope that he doesn't end up in Pittsburgh!

Another one of Babcock's Team Canada favorites.. I don't know how I feel about it, but I can see the Leafs kicking tires.

Then trade for Vanek and have MArleau, Nash and Vanek play as the oldest line in NHL history?

Indeed I hope a team overpays in a big way, then Nash returns to NY next season at a reduced contract.

If I recall correctly Eric, you haven't told us how many of Nash's games you have actually watched...
Consider Sim Hockey because guys who play shutdown minutes, deflect shots and clear creases build championships. Yet in fantasy they litter the unwanted UFA lists.

I already told you, I've never watched a hockey game in my life. Never.

Considering how much I've invested into hockey over the years you would think I've at least seen him once or twice. Probably a lot more. But if you want to throw a number at me to feel better about yourself then go ahead.

You seem very sensitive to opinions that are not the same as yours. Why is this the case?

I guess with 30K posts you don't have time to watch hockey. Never ? thats very sad to hear.

If you watched Nash play you might change your opinion a bit... It appears the answer right now is zero.

I learned a long time ago to ask if we are curious. I also learned that its rude not to answer a question. How about you ?

Its amusing that you would conclude that I am sensitive to opinions other than mine. It tells me that either I have done a poor job of explaining myself or that you prefer to disagree rather than seek consensus.

I know I tend to distrust people who claim to have all the answers.

Having owned 3 rather successful businesses in my life so far, I deal with all sorts of opinions. Some are spot on, others not so. I almost always ask for a source when given one hence my question. In fact disagreement is the best tonic for prudent forecasting don't you agree ?

The other day a client asked me about Bisphenol A as an additive in his product. I replied that it would depend on where he viewed his market whereupon he said "North America". I informed him that it was going to be problematic to sell some of his catalog there. He said I was wrong, so I shrugged my shoulders. "Best of luck to you in your endeavors".

Thanks for answering me and your candor Eric, I appreciate it.

best of luck with Frozen pool mate
