You knew it was coming and I won't disappoint! That's right all. Today we return to "which team scares the $hit outta me today"!!! Can you guess which it is? Correct, Fleury vs "insert drum roll" WASHINGTON!!! Yaaaaaay. Ok seriously, this stinks of peripheral murder... How are we feeling about this one today? I intend to sit him. 4 way tie I'm Sv%, and my opponents have no goalies playing today. Ahead of them by 2-3 wins. Why take the chance? I can't wrap my head around it. What do you guys think and other owners, you guys rolling him today?

If you want to hit max GPs to max out wins, while keeping a solid Sv% and GAA, you have to play your studs. Fleury this season is a stud. I wouldn't be sitting him against anyone, and I would take the 1/10 games that he gives up more than three goals.
So I say play him, but if you like your gut feeling, it's ultimately your call.

I hear ya man. I flip flop more than a pancake. I’m only about 12-13 games away from hitting my goalies minimum of 6000 minutes played. Would it shock me the see Vegas won? No, not at this point, but with the Caps scoring 4/5 goals a game lately, it’s gotta be somewhat concerning.. I guess it’s different for every league depending on where you are with your categories and how many minutes or games you need to play to reach the minimum.

As a Holtby owner I'd be more nervous playing him vs vegas then you should be with Fleury vs washington. At least vegas have 6 competent dmen and the team plays with good structure. Lucky for me I'm trailing in all goalie stat this week so I'm forced to play Holtby so easy decision for me. If you don't need to win the sv% cat outright then I'd sit him imo.

I wish Holtby was starting today? I really hate the way coaches play the back-ups so much versus even just 5 years ago. Hard for some to get on a roll. Dammit!

I don't have to win Sv% outright, no. I mean sure the better it is, the better we end up but, I'm in 3rd in Sv%, but I'm a 4 way tie. So long story short, if the Caps even just get 3 goals on 20 shots, I'm dropping 3 points on that one game np. Not mentioning any damage to GAA.

Fleury owner here, and I started him. As a general rule of thumb, I always start my studs and only look at matchups if more than 2 goalies of mine are playing.
