1 Silence of the Phams 129-75-5 (132.5)
2 Tigertown 117-82-10 (122)
3 Mad Bikin Baumers 106-92-11 (112.5)
4 Jobu's Rum 103-99-7 (107.5)
5 Big Brother 99-98-12 (105)
6 Hockeyrobot 97-100-12 (103)
7 Black Sox 99-104-6 (102)
8 Asparagus Piss Bombs 89-109-11 (94.5)
9 Uh-Ohtani (Batter) 88-109-12 (94)
10 Texas Ballknockers 72-131-6 (75)
1 - Phams once again with a dominating win, keeping his lead nice and wide in first.
2-3 - Tigertown with a dominating performance over Jobu all but solidifying his position in 2nd. Baumers was beat up by phams but with a matchup against Tigertown this week, has an outside shot at that 2nd position.
4-7 - This teir gets very interesting as a total of 5.5 points separate 4th and 7th. One of these teams will not make it into the playoffs. Hockeyrobot had a big week moving him back into contention while Jobu, Brother and Black Sox all had losing weeks. Hockeyrobot goes head to head with Big Brother this week while Black Sox and Jobu both face the bottom 2 teams. This week could determine a lot heading into the last week of the season.
8-9 - Asparagus was beat up again this week all but eliminating his chances from snagging a playoff spot. Ohtani had another winning week, but by a small margin and has not made up the ground required.
Going to be an excellent finish to the season!
With Sale on the DL, I seriously had like 4 weeks with all Kershaw, Scherzer, Syndergaard and Sale pitching.

So apparently my team is only capable of beating the first place team and the last place team. I have the slightest of chances of qualifying for the playoffs. I have to pretty much win this week 9-1 or 10-0 and have Penguin Hunter also loose by a very big margin. I?m hoping for a visit from the baseball gods!
Coming down to the final week of the year. I love it.
5 is playing 7 and 6 is playing 8. Doesn't get any better than that!

Time to fully embrace the spoiler role.

1&2 - Phams and Tigertown remained locked into first and second and go head to head this week to finish off the season. Unfortunately, it's a relatively meaningless matchup other than bragging rights, as Tigertown would need to win 11-0 to jump Phams in the standings.
3&4 - Baumers and Jobu are neck and neck at 3&4, separated by 1 point. Well both have essentially locked down a playoff spot, they will be battling for the honour of 3rd! Both play the bottom two teams this week.
5 to 9 - This is where we get interesting! Hockeyrobot, Big Brother and Black Sox sit at 5, 6 and 7 respectively, and are separated by only 4 points. One of these three will miss the playoffs. Asparagus and Ohtani remain in the hunt, sitting 8.5 and 9 points back of 6th respectively. The best part about this group, It's 5(HR) vs 7(BS) and 6(BB) vs 8(A)! So many potential outcomes here!
- For Hockeyrobot, it's win and he's in. In charge of his own destiny, he has 4 points of wiggle room to hold on to a playoff spot, so it would need to be a catastrophic week for him to get knocked out.
- For Big Brother, it's likely win and he's in, although theoretically it could not work that way. A Black Sox victory and a Brother loss would likely see him fall out of the last playoff spot.
- Black Sox needs a win first and foremost. Beating Hockeyrobot by more than 4 points would guarantee a playoff spot, otherwise he'll have to win and get some help from Asparagus to jump Big Brother.
- Asparagus needs a 10-1 win or better over Big Brother to make the playoffs. It's unlikely, but possible!
- Ohtani needs a 11-0 win over Jobu and a 10-1 win by Asparagus to get in. Pretty much impossible, but I wanted to make sure you knew there's a chance!
Going to be a great week to finish off the season. Looking forward to how the playoff matchups shake out! Get those lineups ready!
Love the breakdowns! Thanks Kofax.
A tight playoff race and every team let Kendrys Morales sit on the waiver wire for his 7 consecutive game with a home run steak. I finally decided to grab him and I bet he goes 0 for the week. But that?s the way the fantasy cookie crumbles.
Yelich is saving my life right now.
I'm healthy now kids. Watch out!
