I don't care what we do besides if I hold waiver 1, I want waiver 1 until I use it. No resetting

Yeah unless I'm missing something those will not change until more players are dropped, then go on waivers, then you guys will have top dibs on them.

Shouldn't we put everyone back onto waivers so that people can put in claims?

I don't think first come first serve is a fair way to do it. I for one won't be available at 5 pm due to evening obligations and activities, finishing up late in the evening around 11 pm, at which point all the players will have been picked over. In addition, HF will likely be heading to bed at that point.

It can be for 1 day, or the shortest period available, but I do think waivers is the correct course of action here.

My understanding was the he was going to unlock teams and just say it's open at 5 pm.

Oh there is a misunderstanding from your post. You said 'waivers open tomorrow at 5pm' - my assumption is that is was for everyone. Those you refer to must have at the time but then the waiver period expired and now everyone is FA. I think the fairest thing is to put all back on waivers until a set date, since other than GSD accidentally, nobody has had a chance to pick up players post-draft. Waivers should be in place (for all players) when everyone is unlocked so that everyone has a chance to claim rather than first come, first serve (as Kofax mentioned).

And I realize that all transactions are locked... but what I think people are wanting is that all players go on waivers so its not a race to whoever can pick up players right after you unlock everything.

Exactly, which is the way it should be based on our settings (waivers post-draft).

I have never commisioned a league in Yahoo.. but usually there is a way to waive all players...

I would check where you locked the players and see if there is an option to waive all.

All drafts I have been in have had the players go through waivers before they come free agents.
